Getting Started

See our About page to get some general ideas on the concepts of the game. You should then visit the Classes page and select a class you believe would be approachable to your style. To proceed through the game, you can refer to our Locations page for an overview of the recommended route, or check out the Walkthrough provided.

  • What is the best class?

There is no one best class, and they are all highly customizable. Classes have specific Specializations that will unlock abilities on a skill-tree system. This will interact with your weapon, [[|armor]] and attributes choices. Please see our Character Creation and Character Builds pages to get ideas from other players.

  • Is there a level cap in Dragon Age: Inquisition?

There is no level cap in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
There is no NG+, but optional, high-difficulty zones are available after completing the Main Storyline.

  • What is Alignment?

Alignment is your character's approach to decision-making in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. Your choices will affect how your party of companions see you.

  • Who are the available companions and what are their stories?

Companions are NPCs that may join your party if you meet certain conditions. Companions have their individual quests and objectives, as well as alignment. Visit their individual pages to find more about them, their backstory, and their role in your party and play.

  • Can you sell items?

You can sell items at specific Merchants.

  • What is a good weapon?

Please see our Weapons page and note Weapon Terminology for helping with your choice. Weapons have different movesets and attack speeds, and your playstyle will affect which is your favorite. We recommend choosing a weapon with a preferred moveset and then building your character around it.
