Inquisition Rank is a type of leveling mechanic in Dragon Age: Inquisition. The inquisition's growth in size will increase its influence in Thedas. Influence is earned by completing quests, and it levels up the Inquisition's rank, which gives you access to a perk point that affects the world and your abilities within it.
