Still Waters is a side quest in
Crestwood in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. It initiates once you enter the area, and it asks you to close the Fade Rift in the Lake near New Crestwood.
Undead have terrorized Crestwood since a Fade rift appeared in the lake. There must be a way to close it.

- Objectives:
- Help Crestwood fight back the undead.
- Speak to Crestwood's mayor.
- Choosing "Please let me help" gains approval:
- Slight approval with Blackwall and Cassandra
- Choosing "Please let me help" gains approval:
- Claim the keep to reach the dam.
- Enter the building on the dam.
- Unlock the door to reach the controls and drain the lake.
- Find an entrance to the Flooded Caves.
- Enter the Flooded Caves under Old Crestwood.
- Close the Fade rift.
- Inform the mayor that the rift is closed.
- Boss: Rage Demon
- Locations: Crestwood
- Rewards: 1,934 XP, 400 Influence, 3 Power
- Choices & Consequences: During this quest there will be a brief dialogue with a couple who are fooling around in the tavern. If you say you will report them you will gain +2 Approval from Cassandra. If you agree to keep it a secret you will get -2 Approval from her.
- Player Notes: You must capture Caer Bronach to be able to complete this quest.
