Way of the Knight-Enchanter is a Specialization quest of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. It initiates by speaking with Commander Helaine in the Skyhold courtyard after completing the Specializations for the Inquisitor War Table Operation. You must collect 10 Lazurite and 3 Wisp Essences from the 3 locations listed below. They are NOT random drops, but instead drop from 3 specific enemies. Once you've collected the above materials you must craft the Spirit Blade Hilt at an "Inspect Requisitions" bench.
Craft a hilt to hold a spirit blade, study the methods required to wield the blade, and Commander Helaine will reveal the secrets of the Knight-Enchanter specialization. Take the essence from wisps at: 1 in Old Thoroughfare, 1 in The Weeping Spires, and 1 in Granite Point in The Fallow Mire. Readings can be found among the belongings of Vivienne or, if those are unavailable, among the wares of the book merchant in Val Royeaux.
